I lived in the village in the 1960’s and early 70’s in my teens. I left home at 18, but still visited until the late 1970’s when I married. I have fond and clear memories of the village and its charters, like Fredie Fairfax and who lived in various houses, the village shop, the stables etc. I live relatively locally (Cattal) so if i can assist with local history / reminisces please let me know. Best line of contact is via my work email (jane@nbahr.co.uk) Kind Regards to the residents of Bilbrough.
